Redraw

Well, I've not heard back from Harbans so unfortunately she misses out on my blog candy. I've just conducted a redraw :

And the winner is comment number 12 ~ CONGRATULATIONS Sharon !!

I will get your prize in the mail to you this week, enjoy :)

Monday 8 December 2008

No claim

As yet the winner of my most recent blog candy draw has not claimed her prize. I have emailed a second time, but if I've not heard back by midnight tonight I will conduct a redraw tomorrow.

So Harbans, if you're out there, hurry !

In case you were wondering, I have taken a little break from designing for the moment. Aside from some personal issues, I have also recently been diagnosed with some medical concerns that require treatment. I am SO tired all the time and am lacking the motivation to do very much, so I have decided to put my designing on the back-burner for a little while.

I hope that you all have a safe and happy Christmas and New Year and I will see you in 2009 !!

Monday 1 December 2008

Congratulations !

I have just drawn the winner of my blog candy...

Congratulations go to Harbans ~ this beautiful fairy and castle are now yours ! I have emailed you a request for your mailing details.

Thank you to everyone who entered and thank you for the links on your blogs. There will be more draws for more fabulous prizes after Christmas so come back often to see what's new and what's up for grabs.

Don't forget, if you have any questions or suggestions (or if you just want to say hi) you can always contact me via the link in my sidebar. I also LOVE seeing what people create with my designs so I encourage you to send pics of your work through to me.

~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~

Simply make a/some Christmas decoration and send a photo of it through to us to be entered into the draw (you do not have to use Fiskars products). I have included lots of ideas and links in my post, so why not check it out and have a go !? International entries are welcome :)

And somewhere for all Princesses to live; a beautiful Fairytale Castle. Available as both an album (see below) and an embellishment this pretty castle is sure to please all little (and big) girls.

Fairytale Castle

And here it is, our beautiful Fairytale Castle Album. Complete with 2 hinged rings, front and back covers and middle page, this pretty album would make a perfect gift for a favourite little girl this Christmas.

More black core board

Our black core board is proving to be VERY popular with customers. Due its popularity we now have a huge range of lasercuts available in this ready-to-use material. With no painting required you simply attach it to your page and you're done ! Just some of our other products include a cityscape, spider, music notes, our hummingbird, fushcia, pop tree and our fairies.

These are a Little Deer

How sweet are these little guys ? Two beautiful little deers; one standing and one sitting down. These would be gorgeous on a baby card or layout !

Sweet Cherry Pie

Well..not really cherry pie...cherry blossoms actually ! Available in 4 sizes as pictured (I believe these are sold in mixed sets so contact Sharndra for specifics).

Christmas Albums

Our Christmas Bauble and Damask Tree were so popular that we just had to turn them into albums ! Both albums come with hinged rings and are available in sizes to suit both 6"x6" and 8"x8" page protectors.

NEW designs 29-Oct-08

Okay, so I promised you all new designs, and here they are... Just in time for Halloween we have a spider web and a haunted house.

This funky little spider web is designed to fit in the corner of your layout or card (see pic 2).

Imagine the possibilities...I see a white web covered with sparkly glitter. I also have plans to paint a chipboard spider black, cover with black flock and then add some Kaiser pearl eyes. (chipboard spiders also available from Scrapbook Lady)

And here's my spooky haunted house. It comes with a separate door.

Scroll down for the other new designs from this week (I've put them into separate posts to make searches more productive).

And if these aren't enough for you there are some gorgeous girly designs in production right now that I should have next week...think fairies and flowers :)

Jolly roger

Perfect for boys cards or invitations, or just as an adornment for your scrapbook page this detailed Jolly Roger is very different from others on the market.

Customise him by painting the individual sections with acrylic paint and a fine paintbrush; add some glitter to the diamond in his eye socket, or why not add a rhinestone for some real bling ?!

Fuschia flower

This delicate fuschia lasercut is an edited version of my hummingbird.

Look at this little cutie !

This cute little owl is our newest feathered friend, isn't he adorable ?

And speaking of owls...take a look at the gorgeous layout my friend Vesna created using my other owl.

Remember, if you use any of my lasercuts I'd love to see them. I recently saw a layout in a scrapbook magazine that featured one of my older designs. To say I was THRILLED would be an understatement - it was just like being published myself !

A few newbies today...

Wow, what an overwhelming response I've had so far to my BLOG CANDY post ~ thank you all for your sweet comments ! If you've not already entered, please do, you have until October 12 to get your comments in. Oh...and the more interest I get here, the more often I will have pieces up for offer, so tell your friends and visit often :D

As far as I know, general sales of my lasercuts are going well. Sharndra tells me that she had received email enquiries within a week of me reopening this blog, so that's GREAT news :) To anyone who has purchased one of my lasercuts, THANK YOU !!

I've had a few people ask, and YES - Sharndra will sell and post INTERNATIONALLY so please contact her (via the email link on the right) with your enquiries.

This week I've added a few new designs; some more birds, flowers and something special for the boys ! Scroll down to take a look...

Christmas cards

How cute do these look ?? I've just finished playing with some Heidi Grace papers and my brand new Christmas Bauble lasercuts to create these non-traditional Christmas cards.

Each bauble was coloured by pouncing a chalk ink pad over the top. Then, to give it some shine, I did the same with my Versamark pad, coated them with some clear embossing powder and then heated the embossing powder to melt.

** Note: when heat embossing lasercuts (particularly fine detailed ones such as this) TAKE CARE not to overheat. Because the edges have already been burned during the cutting process you will find that those areas begin to smoke. If you overheat it may catch alight.

Open Rose

We have a delicate, open rose will accentuate any card or layout beautifully...

and some gorgeous star-shaped wildflowers.

Go Kart

This cute little go kart guy is perfect for all of your boy layouts.

3 Birds on a Wire

Available in two sizes; the sister file to 2 Birds on a Wire...

WELCOME !! (and blog candy)

Welcome to my re-opened
lasercuts blog

A chance meeting about a month ago presented the opportunity for me to begin my designing again, so of course, I jumped at the chance ! My thanks go to Sharndra & John of Scrapbook Lady, Pakenham.

For the past couple of weeks I've been kept very busy working away on my laptop, and here dear readers, are the first of my designs hot off the production line - I hope you like what you see !

I will be adding new designs as soon as they become available, and will also add images of works created with my designs to inspire you. I'd love you to email me photos of anything you make using my lasercuts too; there is an email link for me in the right hand sidebar -->

New designs will be added regularly, and if you're looking for something in particular you should be able to find it using the category search option, also in the right hand sidebar -->

Suggestions for new designs are always welcome so don't hesitate to email me if there is something you're after (note; this is not a custom service ~ simply an opportunity to bring a sought-after design onto the market).

Scrapbook Lady is not an online store, but orders can be placed via email. Please email Sharndra with your enquiries.

I will be offering random blog candy prizes of some of my designs, so check back often to see what goodies I have up for grabs !

In celebration of the re-opening of my lasercuts blog I would like to offer one lucky reader one of my 'hummingbird & flowers' lasercuts (pic below). To enter, please leave a comment on this post.
